Budapest International Foto Awards 2020: two alumni to obtain honorable mentions

Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA)– in the same vein as the Moscow and Tokyo International Foto Awards – showcase photographers in a variety of categories to share their best images with the creative communities in Hungary and Eastern Europe in general.

Alinne Rezende receives an honorable mention for her photo essay on womanhood –  “Cromossoma” – which is a search to connect with her roots but also understand feminine strength.

Alinne is a 2012 graduate from the Professional Photography in 1 year program and currently works as a photojournalist, documentary and fine-art photographer between Brazil and Europe.

In the Architecture/Buildings category, Valérie Chauffour‘s series “Planet 2020” obtains another honorable mention. Documenting the Front de Seine district in Paris, her work reflects the then conception of modern space in buildings from the 1970s.

Valérie – a former pilot turned photographer – graduated in 2015 from what now is the Professional Photography Fundamentals program.

Spéos warmly congratulates both of them!
