After an initial training in Fine Art and a long practice both with still and moving images, I found myself regularly at my technical limits on numerous projects that required skills I hadn’t acquired during my generalist training. So, I decided to take a short-concentrated course at Spéos, to acquire the essentials needed to make up for my shortcomings.
I was offered an intensive and exciting program within a very international group of excellent fellow photographers. Teachers were very involved in their area of expertise, and both teaching and administrative staff were always helpful and caring. Also, the equipment and facilities were excellent for a school located in the heart of Paris.
But what I cherish most, after a few years and beyond the solid training, is a group of photographer friends and the memories of unforgettable moments in our lives. I’ve kept the habit of coming back regularly to see the work on display at the Spéos Gallery or at the annual exhibition, another great opportunity for students to meet many passionate photographers and amateurs alike.
Today, I’m a visual artist and photographer working in Tours, in my studio-workshop “le laBEAUratoire”, and my research and practice are oriented towards the links between creation, art and health. I also welcome photographers from different horizons for portfolio reviews. Recently, I’ve also been offering individual coaching or tailor-made workshops on questions of creation, orientation and retraining.
