Bièvres 2024: two Spéos students win awards!
The 60th Bièvres International Photo Fair was held on June 1 and 2, 2024. Congratulations to Alexandra Mavrofridi who won the Young Photographer prize, and to Julien Tribet who won the jury’s special “Espoir” mention!
About the Foire de Bièvres
Still organized by the Photoclub Paris-Val-de Bièvre, with the support of the Commune de Bièvres, the Foire de Bièvres has become a not-to-be-missed event for collectors and enthusiasts. The fair is renowned for its second-hand market and photographic antiques, its new goods and services market, its artists’ market and its photographers’ exhibitions. It welcomes some 250 exhibitors and is located just 20 km from Paris.
About the jury
The Artists’ Market jury was chaired by renowned printer Alain Escourbiac.The jury was made up of :
- Marion Dubier-Clark, photographer,
- Sylvie Jumentier, President of the Association des amis du Musée Albert-Kahn,
- Édith Guinard, head of purchasing at the Maison Européenne de la Photographie bookshop,
- Thibaut Godet, editor-in-chief of Réponses Photo magazine.
