As every year, Spéos will be present in Arles during the opening week of the Rencontres de la Photographie, from July 7 to 12, 2025. The school will take over its Arles gallery to showcase the works of the winners of its 2025 Juries: Faith Adu Afriyie, Eva Rodríguez, Pasquale Rescigno, and Souraya Jureidini.

An international meeting for contemporary photography
Founded in 1970 by Lucien Clergue, Michel Tournier, and Jean-Maurice Rouquette, the Rencontres d’Arles is now a major event on the global cultural calendar. Every summer, the city becomes a stage for exhibitions, discussions, and discoveries, attracting professionals, collectors, and enthusiasts from around the world. A real springboard for emerging talents, the festival stands out as a space for innovation and reflection on contemporary photography.
Four young talents to discover
Spéos celebrates the new generation of photographers at the Rencontres d’Arles 2025:
From Ghana, Faith Adu Afriyie is the winner of the Studio Prize.
He graduated from the Professional Photography in 1 year program.
From Spain, Eva Rodríguez is the Jury’s Special Mention in the Studio category.
She also graduated from the Professional Photography in 1 year program.
Pasquale Rescigno is the winner of the Photojournalism Prize.
Of Italian origin, he graduated from the Creative Documentary Program by Magnum Photos & Spéos program.
Souraya Jureidini is the winner of the Fine Art Prize.
A graduate of the Creative Documentary Program by Magnum Photos & Spéos program, she comes from Lebanon.
