Richard Dunwoody featured in Nikon In-Frame and Gallop Magazine

Richard Dunwoody is a Spéos 2012 Alumni and has recently featured in 2 articles: “the Mongol Derby”, in Gallop Magazine Issue 2 dated June 2017 and a “Behind the lens” article by Nikon In-Frame.

Richard is an equestrian, travel and adventure photographer. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, he became the only jockey of his generation to win the ‘Big Three’ National Hunt races and was awarded the MBE (Member of British Empire) for services to his sport in 1993.

He has covered the highly popular Mongol Derby several times, and recently photographed the “Patient’s Journey” for Channel 4’s “Supervet,” Noel Fitzpatrick, U.K popular TV program. His images have appeared in publications around the world including Tatler, Four Seasons Magazine, Outside and How to Spend It.

What Richard says about Spéos: “I had a friend at the Spéos Photographic Institute in Paris, an intensive, full-time photography course, so I decided to give it a go, and signed up. Luckily, the lectures were in English! I was out there for nine months, specializing in photojournalism, and I totally recommend it.”
