Workshop – AI-Powered Image Creation

  • Campus: Paris
  • Start date: March 2026

This workshop is a professional-level creative laboratory where participants learn to imagine, design, and produce complete campaigns powered by artificial intelligence (AI). They also develop a deep understanding of the ethical issues, authorship questions, and innovation dynamics that accompany these new practices.
This workshop combines theoretical input, case studies, practical exercises, technical demonstrations, and artistic direction to offer a complete immersion in the creative uses of AI.

Objectives, Target Audience and Required Level

Objectives

  • Understand the technical and ethical fundamentals of generative AI.
  • Master AI tools.
  • Build coherent images: portrait, fashion, still life, advertising.
  • Develop a concept, visual series, or mini AI campaign.
  • Explore visual storytelling and the first steps toward AI video.

  • If the laptop does not have an Ethernet port, participants must bring a compatible adapter.
  • Lastly, it is essential to have a credit card to subscribe to Midjourney at the beginning of the course and to any other software (Nana Banana Pro, Topaz AI, and Krea).

FAQ

Artificial intelligence does not replace the entire traditional photographic process, but it can automate or optimize certain stages:

  • generating visual ideas and quick mood boards,
  • exploring concepts before real-world production,
  • creating reference images to guide a shoot,
  • suggesting creative variations in post-production.

AI becomes a complementary tool that enhances the workflow rather than a complete substitute for photographic practice.

AI is particularly useful for:

  • prototyping visuals across multiple creative directions,
  • generating inspirational materials for campaigns,
  • testing visual styles before committing to costly production,
  • producing elements to integrate into composites or hybrid visuals.

These applications save time, expand creative possibilities, and accelerate decision-making in a professional context.

Building a coherent visual identity with AI-generated images relies on:

  • a clear art direction and well-defined creative guidelines,
  • choosing a consistent aesthetic and visual universe,
  • using AI tools with reproducible parameters,
  • harmonizing and refining the results in post-production.

AI becomes a tool serving a thoughtful aesthetic, not an unconstrained image generator.

A portfolio incorporating AI-generated images should:

  • present projects within a narrative or conceptual framework,
  • explain the role of AI in the creative process,
  • demonstrate visual and artistic coherence across series,
  • balance generated images with original productions when relevant.

A well-designed portfolio makes AI a narrative asset rather than an end in itself.

Transforming an idea into a cohesive series requires a clear methodology:

  • defining a strong narrative or conceptual intention,
  • identifying keywords, styles, and visual references,
  • configuring the AI tool to generate iterations aligned with the vision,
  • sorting, selecting, and refining the produced images.

This process enables the creation of strong, visually consistent bodies of work.

AI is a rapid experimentation tool that allows you to:

  • generate multiple versions of a visual concept,
  • compare stylistic directions,
  • visualize ideas before committing human and technical resources,
  • quickly refine intentions before moving into production.

It enables the exploration of ideas without immediate material investment.

Integrating AI into a creative strategy involves:

  • defining clear objectives (speed, exploration, style),
  • adopting consistent workflows,
  • combining human talent with automated tools,
  • ensuring the quality and originality of the produced visuals.

AI fits into a strategic, methodical, and results-oriented approach.

Standing out with AI involves:

  • integrating your own visual style into AI-driven productions,
  • mastering the chosen parameters and algorithms,
  • selecting, editing, and contextualizing the images effectively,
  • using AI as a creative tool rather than a simple generator.

This approach makes it possible to offer distinctive visuals aligned with a strong artistic or brand identity.
