Bièvres 2025: A Spéos Student Awarded!
The 61st International Photo Fair of Bièvres took place on June 7 and 8, 2025. On this occasion, Greta Vio, a Spéos student, received the Special Mention from the jury. Congratulations to her!
About the Bièvres Fair
Organized by the Photoclub Paris-Val-de-Bièvre with the support of the Municipality of Bièvres, the Bièvres Fair has become, over time, an essential event for collectors and photography enthusiasts.
The fair is renowned for its photo exhibitions and various markets:
- second-hand and antique photographic equipment market,
- new equipment and services market,
- artists’ market.
The Bièvres Fair hosts nearly 250 exhibitors each year and is located just 20 km from Paris.
About the Spéos Award Winner
The jury of the artists’ market was chaired this year by Alice Santinelli, iconographer and photography consultant. Greta Vio received the jury’s Special Mention. She is a recent graduate of Spéos’ 2-year Professional Photography Program.
Based in Paris and originally from Venice, Italy, Greta’s work stands out for its unique visual language that blurs the line between reality and imagination. With a sharp eye for light, texture, and composition, Greta creates refined, emotionally resonant images that evoke a dreamlike atmosphere.
Her photography explores themes such as elegance, memory, and poetic storytelling, combining technical precision with a deeply personal artistic vision. Whether working on editorial projects, portraits, or visual concepts, Greta invites the viewer into immersive worlds shaped by both clarity and mystery.
