Clara Mill, « The Roots »

Clara Mill’s exhibition, The Roots at the Speos Gallery – 7 rue Jules Vallès, 75011 Paris, from October 5 to 31, 2015.

Clara Mill grew up in an isolated house in the woods, in a remote corner of countryside, surrounded by wilderness. Forest trees have become magical friends, their roots fascinating links leading to unexplored and unknown worlds.
For her series “The Roots”, Clara drew on her past explorations, and the strong links developed in childhood with nature.

“ The roots are all these ramifications that are specific to each of us, and are underneath our skin and in our soul: full of colors like fireworks exploding outside us, or bringing the light.”
